Sealed tubes containing refrigerant liquid are heated in one air stream causing convection and cooled in another to create a thermo-syphon effect. We have taken this well established principal and developed it further to use its own extended surfaces, to create smaller and lighter closed circuit machine coolers with better performance.
Avantair replaces closed circuit water cooling systems where machine conditions allow.
Approach temperatures within10 degrees Centigrade are possible due to the heat transfer surface efficiency. Avantair may replace TEWAC and auxiliary air-blast cooler with its associated pumps, pipe-work and controls. Savings in capital plant, space and maintenance are considerable.
