Additions to the Sales team

The Sales team based at our Water Orton site in Birmingham is pleased to announce the addition of two new members of staff to its ranks, who in turn will help drive the further progression of the department.

First to join the team was Elliott Smith; Sales Administrator/Trainee Sales Engineer, whose responsibilities include; placing enquiries onto the internal system to generate quotations, to complete any electronic or paper based tender documents and booking appointments for the sales team.

Elliott’s history before joining the Sterling team was four and a half years working within the Procurement department of Veolia Environmental Services, where he gathered a number of skills that can be applied to his role.

Following closely behind Elliot was the addition of Chris Booley; Technical Sales Engineer, whose responsibilities include; introducing new business as well as generating sales from existing customers in the following industries; pharmaceutical, steel, chemical, air separation, compressors, pumps, refrigeration and petro chemical.

Before joining Sterling Chris had attained over 29 years’ experience in a number of differing sectors including Turbine Efficiency. Using Chris’s vast experience within the Sales sector combined with our already competent team, we are looking forward to a prosperous 2015 and beyond.

We wish both Elliott and Chris all the best in their new roles and their continued development within Sterling Thermal Technology.
