Manufacturing an Avantair during the coronavirus (COVID-19) by Sterling Thermal Technology

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response

Updated on the 6th of January 2021

In March 2020, Alok Sharma, Secretary of State for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, said in his letter to those working in manufacturing “Manufacturing is a critical part of our economy…”

Sterling Thermal Technology designs, manufactures and refurbishes heat exchangers to key industries including health services, defence, dairy, oil & gas, recycling, power generation, and transportation & rail.

Thus, despite the lockdowns and tier system at certain periods, we are working hard to maintain the supply of products to support continuity of operations in these sectors. We are eager to help our customers during these difficult times due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

While remaining in full production, we also want to safeguard our employees, their families, our suppliers and clients. To protect our employees who need to work in our factories, we continuously implement safe working conditions. All those who can work from home are doing so.

Finally, we are continually monitoring and responding to the concerns raised, and to the changes in government and health agencies’ advice.

By all working as one team, we want to be proud of the support we are providing.
