A Significant Step Forward for Sterling Thermal Technology

I am pleased to share two important developments at Sterling Thermal Technology that mark a significant milestone in our continued growth and long-term vision for the business.
Firstly, Sterling Thermal Technology has successfully acquired Unit Superheater Engineering (USE) in Swansea from the UnitBirwelco Group. This strategic acquisition strengthens our position within the industry and enhances the value we deliver to our customers and partners worldwide.
Now operating as Sterling Thermal Technology Wales, the business brings a proud heritage in the design and manufacture of heat exchangers and specialist engineered solutions. The addition of its highly skilled team, technical expertise, and manufacturing capability significantly expands the strength of our Group.
This acquisition immediately increases our operational capacity and engineering capability, enabling us to respond more effectively to customer demand, support larger and more complex strategic projects, and provide an even broader range of high-quality engineered solutions. It also strengthens our UK footprint as we continue to expand our global reach.
Most importantly, this development enhances—not disrupts—the way we support you, our customers and partners. Your existing relationships and service arrangements will continue as normal, while over time you will benefit from increased responsiveness, enhanced technical support, and greater manufacturing capability across the Group.
Alongside this exciting development, I am also honoured to have been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Sterling Thermal Technology Group.
As we enter this next phase of growth, my focus will be centred on three key priorities:
