Industrial heat exchanger repairs and refurbishment

Is there something wrong with your heat exchanger? The first step is to diagnose the problem. To this end, we offer a test, inspection and report (TIR) service. This report details the most cost-effective solution to get the heat exchanger back in service.

When it comes to making the heat exchanger repairs, we re-use existing parts where possible to reduce the cost to you. We then refurbish the equipment to an “as new” condition.

Where needed, we test and certify for compliance, ensuring the heat exchanger is left in optimal condition and meets all your requirements.

Industrial heat exchanger servicing, maintenance and cleaning

Like all machines, heat exchangers can suffer from wear-and-tear and build-up waste products, reducing their efficiency. Using specialist equipment and heat exchanger maintenance knowledge, we can give a full service to your heat exchanger when needed, returning it to its best working condition. This extends the expected life of the product and reduces the risk of further issues or downtime.

Heat exchanger upgrades

Heat exchanger technology improves over time. You can request an investigation from us into how to improve the thermal performance of your heat exchanger. This may involve changes to the design or modifications to the materials.

We can make sure your heat exchanger is operating in line with today’s expectations and maximise its efficiency.

‘Like for like’ heat exchanger replacement

Don’t worry if your original equipment was not designed or supplied by us: we can offer you a ‘like for like’ replacement heat exchanger service.

We may carry out a site visit to collect some performance data that we will need to produce an accurate quote. If appropriate, we’ll even let you know if your heat exchanger could benefit from upgrades to improve its thermal performance.

Heat exchanger spare parts

We can easily offer spare parts for virtually any equipment supplied under Sterling Thermal Technology, but that’s not all. If you have had equipment delivered under any of our previous names (including Thermo Engineers, Heat Exchange Industries (HEI) and Britannia Heatex), we can help you.
