The role

Carrying out the goods inwards inspections and general stores activities in accordance with company policy and procedures.

Who you will interact with

• Responsible to: Stores Supervisor
• Directly supervising: None
• Staff relations: All other staff

Requirements:

You must have worked for a minimum of 2 years within a manufacturing industry.

Your normal hours of work will be 37½ per week on our ‘early’ shift, i.e.

Monday – Friday 6am to 2pm

General Duties:

• Contribute to the achievement of business objectives and targets
• Maintain strict confidentiality on all matters relating to company business
• Ensure adherence to company procedures
• Always demonstrate company culture and values

Specific Duties:

• Working in accordance with the internal Quality Management System.
• Carrying out the final inspection and packing of various pieces of equipment/materials.
• Completing and signing the works tickets and applicable quality assurance plans for the completed tasks as instructed.
• Carry out the inspecting and booking in of raw materials and goods using the internal ERP system.

• Work to satisfy the job requirements at all times working in accordance with the Company’s procedures.
• To become a valued member of the goods inwards/stores team.

• Ability to effectively plan and prioritise workload.
• Ability to maintain systems and procedures.
• Able to build strong relationships; internal and external.
• Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Clarity of view and focus on objectives; results driven.
