A bit more than a year ago, the Covid-19 hit the world. However, despite this pandemic and unprecedented times, a lot has happened at Sterling TT. We have seen a significant change in our ways of working. We all had to adapt to increased challenges whilst still trying to meet the needs and expectations of our clients.
Robust results thanks to a committed team
Notwithstanding the challenges the last year has thrown at us, we have managed to rise to it despite the odds. “I am proud to announce that we have managed to finish the year with a robust result. We have managed to bring the business to profitability after five years of losses,” said Emrah Gozturk, CEO at Sterling TT.
A recent study from Best Companies showed that 62% of the surveyed companies saw an increase in their engagement levels during the pandemic compared to 2019. The engagement of the Sterling TT’s team aligns with this output. Both the executive team and the business shareholders have been impressed by the team’s commitment to achieving this significant milestone for Sterling TT. The management has celebrated the team’s accomplishment by awarding a discretionary bonus to every employee. “We have decided to share our success with the employees, and this bonus aims at recognizing everybody’s hard work and commitment over the past twelve months,” said Emrah.
Overview of the year
Here is a quick overview of what the team has worked on. In the power generation sector, we closely worked with our clients serving the renewable energy sector. We delivered amazing air to water coolers (CACW) and air to air coolers (CACA). Also, we designed and manufactured several of our advanced air to air cooler, Avantair, for LNG and FPSO applications. Besides, we supplied steam to air heaters, which are critical elements in specific processes, like drying in dairies applications. The team was also proud to support the circular economy through innovative technologies. And last but not least, the aftersales helped our clients to reduce their costs.
It has been a challenging but rewarding year, and we all look forward to what this year will bring.
